Project 1: Renewable Technology Challenge
A custom wind turbine blade that prioritizes sustainability and low-production energy for mass production and distribution to power multiple cities in Sweden and surrounding countries. Developed for the purpose of aiding the Swedish Wind Energy Association (SWEA) to reduce net greenhouse gas emissions to zero by 2045.
A surgical tool sterilization system that utilizes a container designed with Autodesk Inventor to securely hold the surgical tools during a sterilization process with autoclaves. Using a Q-Arm and a computer program coded in Python, the 3D-printed containers can be moved into a specified autoclave for sterilization.
Project 3: Revenge of the Recycling System
A hopper-like sorting and recycling system that separates different containers based on their material and cleanliness. This system utilizes a custom-designed lifting mechanism utilizing laser-cut acrylic and 3D-printed components to deposit the containers. This hopper system is mounted on a mobile Q-Bot, and is automated using a computer program coded in Python.
The “Liquid Overflow Sensor” is a fully custom-made device developed for a client. It is a clip-on device that attaches to the side of a cup and notifies the user when the cup is just about to overflow using an electronic buzzer. It is created using common inexpensive parts and 3D-printed components to keep costs down.
